What an amazing time we have had at our Additional Needs Summer Camps across Northern Ireland. What. A. Summer.
Summer 2026 has officially come to an end at You2Me and somehow we managed to make it even bigger than 2025. More fun, more friendships, more activities and most importantly, more opportunities for children with additional needs across Northern Ireland to play, learn and grow in an environment where they can simply be themselves.
A Summer Packed With Fun
Across our Additional Needs Summer Camps in Northern Ireland, no two days looked quite the same. There were games, crafts, messy play, sensory experiences, music, movement and plenty of opportunities to try something completely new.
We welcomed animals into some of our sessions too, giving children the opportunity to get up close, learn about them and even touch and interact with them. These experiences are about much more than having fun. They encourage curiosity, confidence, communication and nurturing behaviours while allowing children to learn through real experiences. That is exactly what You2Me Play is all about.
More Friends. More Confidence. More Memories.
One of our favourite parts of the summer has been watching friendships develop. Our camps create opportunities for children to meet others, play together and build connections in a welcoming and supportive environment. For some children that can be a huge step.
Whether it was joining a group activity, trying something new, getting messy, learning about an animal or simply sharing a laugh with someone new, every little moment mattered. We are incredibly proud of the community continuing to grow around You2Me Play additional needs summer camps across Northern Ireland.
Learning Through Play
Learning does not always need to happen sitting behind a desk. Throughout summer our children have been exploring, creating, moving, communicating and discovering new things through play and sensory experiences.
It is about nurturing the whole child. Building confidence. Encouraging independence. Developing social skills. Creating positive experiences and giving children the space to grow at their own pace. And when they are having an absolute ball while doing it, even better. 💛

None of this happens without the people behind it. A massive thank you to every member of the You2Me team who helped make Summer 2026 such a success. From preparing activities and welcoming families to supporting children throughout each session, your energy, patience and commitment are what make our programmes possible.
We would also like to thank all of the venues and locations across Northern Ireland that welcomed You2Me throughout the summer and helped us create safe, engaging spaces for our children.

Summer might be finished but You2Me certainly isn't slowing down. We have a packed programme of autumn events, SEN workshops and activities across Northern Ireland on the way with new dates and locations coming soon.
We have plenty more fun planned. 🍂💛
